Gran Turismo 5 is bring about alot of talk in the car game industry with multi-platform questions and what new cars are going to be in it this time. Some of the most recent comments were that it is close to Gran Turismo 4 which is a good thing to some degree but not so much that you loose interest quickly.. keep game play similar and quality of cars up is a must for sure for this game. New options from GT fans are being requested though like actual model the body kits correctly, add a better replay function, LAN battles, and Porsche's? I guess the list could go on.

We will all be awaiting the release of Gran Turismo 5!

Vehicle Scrappage Program

The Vehicle Scrappage program appears to be moving along through the white house and possibly to a junkyard near you. The administration believes that offering incentives to scrap your car will help the automobile industry and fight global warming.. While other organizations like SEMA are fighting the program saying it will hurt the repair, restore and customizers across the nation.

I guess I am torn on the idea, we are bursting over with cars .. stuck in ports or rotting at used car sales lots. I would like to see some crappy old cars removed from the streets but again.. new cars are becoming less and less customizable.. so I see the struggle..

Honda Hybrid, Not Cheap enough

Honda Hybrid's are being reported in the news that in 2010.. They are bring out the cheapest hybrid ever.. base price of 19,800 or so.. I say that is not cheap enough. We need to see hybrid's in the 12-14k range with the 40mpg gas rating. With that pricing we will see a mass appeal and change in our car future! Right now we are on the same path.. Hybrid's for the mid class and wealthier classes of people.

Also too.. up until December 0f 2008 people were paying OVER retail for Hybrid's..

Hyundai Assurance Program

Hyundai was not one of my favorite cars growing up by far.. They always seemed to be right on the board of just barely drivable and affordable. With many Elantra's and Excel's sitting car lots of the years I believed that people agreed with my thoughts.. Hyundai has come along way though I guess you could probably say that for most of the foreign car market that comes to America with there cars.. I remember Honda not have such a great product pre 90's.. and still wonder if Ford ever got the memo..

Anyways back on topic. . The Hyunda Assurance Plan seems to be what people need right now... They are contiuning to expand it just recently with the 90 day no pay.. if you are laid off of work. I think this factor alone will help Hyundai Move more cars... I for one even with bad past experiences are considering a drive to the local dealer again.
